I just started metropolol succinctness for heart palpitations and arrhythmia and have been taking alendronate sodium for about a year. Wondering if anyone has found problems with drug interactions.

Hi, I started taking A.S. ( Alendronate sodium) in April 2016 and quit end of May 2016 due to the fact I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer which the symptons started May. I virtually was low to no risk for ovarian cancer but I have not done genetic testing as of yet. I'm just curious if AS could have even been a carslyst for ovarian cancer. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I'm new to the group. I have a history of kidney stones pre and during taking alendronate sodium. I'm wondering if the medication is increasing my incidence when I already have the tendency to make stones. Is there a definitive, verifiable, reliable source of information on this topic?

Hi..I have been taking Anastrozole for 2 years now and started taking Alendronate about two months ago due to osteopenia results. It will be helpful to have a support group to talk to who are going through the same thing!

Alendronate for over 20 years for osteopenia with no problem, followed by a 4 year hiatus to ensure no necrotic bone development. Then I had advanced to osteoporosis, so returned to the alendronate. Nose bleeds developed about 2 months ago. ENT unable to stop them and didn't know the cause, though I gave him a list of my meds. Still having them, a bit less frequently, often after walking or during the night. Have stopped aspirin, ibuprofen and diclofenac (voltaren) for nearly a month. I know it takes time to get aspirin out of the system, so I'm hopeful.

After two months of seeing specialists concerning the 24/7 static/buzzing/crackling in my ear with no results, I just had an epiphany that perhaps there was a link to being on Alendronate Sodium Tablets!...
