I have been taking Allopurinol for a few months to prevent gout. The past month I was told to also take a low dose aspirin for other reasons. I now have a fuzzy head and some light dizziness along with a low grade head ache. Anyoneelse have these symptoms?

Just began Allopurinol regime for Gout control, getting this faint feeling of "pins and needles" in hands and feet, it moves around and never experience numbness. Dr. isn't too concerned about it, thought I would check the community to learn more about personal experiences.

Just started Allopurinol regime (300mg/day). Only noticeable side effect is slight pins and needles feeling in my hands and feet. Never experience numbness or any loss of feeling just this vague pins and needles. Doctor isn't too concerned and I have seen where new users may feel this. Just wanted to see if others have similar experiences.

Just began Allopurinal regime - (just about 3 weeks now). I have felt a very mild tingling in hands and feet, never numb or any loss of feeling or sensitivity to temps, just what I can only explain as like a faint feeling of "falling asleep" but it never progresses beyond that and even that isn't constant. Told my Dr. and he didn't seem too concerned so I thought I would check with the group to see if anyone else has had this experience.

After being on Allopurinol for 6 plus months I developed a huge gallbladder stone, causing much pain. My Dr. now wants to remove my gallbladder. I quit taking the Allopurinol 5 months ago and am pain free currently. I think my diet change aided in the passing of the stones. I am 69 yrs. of age and have never experienced gallstones before. I did read somewhere that if you don't take lots of water while taking Allopurinol that chances of getting gallstones is very likely. I drink very little water and perhaps this lead to the formation of the stones. Stones are not mentioned in the side effects. My Dr. is very adamant that the stone was not caused by Allopurinol, I am not so sure. I was taking Allopurinol for the gout my Dr. insisted I had for almost 20 yrs. even with uric acid levels normal. I was also on colchicine daily for over one yr. which I quit at the same time as the Allopurinol. With the pain still severe I tried alternative methods and after 4 Myers cocktail IV's I have been pain and symptom free. There is little doubt in my mind that the drugs were contributing to advancing my condition along with the pain. Any thoughts.

I am 59 yrs. Have had bad inflammations in different places in 12 yrs. Tried to find a way without medicals first 8 yrs. Been on different biological medications (Remicade, Stelara, Enbrel and now Humira) last 4 yrs. As I don´t get well on that I´m on low dose cbd/thc since 6 month. I really want to get off Humira and Orudis as there are risks for serious sideeffects. My doctor (reumatologist) doesn´t approve so I´m on my own in this. I think I have to rise the cbd/thc and when I feel well stop the Humira. I´m scared at the same time to mix these things and get off the medications. I would like to hear from others.
