I have been taking ambien with no problems . I was on gabapentin then Gralise ER 600 mg. - my insurance company will not pay for the Gralise..Now my dr put me on horizant. I will start tomorrow. What should I look for with the ambien and horizant together. My dr did not give me any warnings. I had back surgery in February and my back and right legs is in more pain now than before surgery. Not sure what to expect!!!!

I didn't understand why my face was always itches and have small red bumps. I have been to so many doctors in the ten years. From dermatology to allergy doctors. I received allergy shots for three years and went to different dermatology five years. I started typing to diagnosis my problem myself. The only medication I have been on for ten years is the ambien.

I am taking generic of Lexapro and recently had to increase dosage to 15mg one day and 10 the next. I have had problems falling asleep for over 10 years and Ambien, despite some side effects I don't like night eating, strange dreams, it helped me sleep. I take Xanax for anxiety also, but lowest dose
Now, I am unable to sleep and it appears I am very restless and Ambien, although I usually take one Xanax .025 and one Ambien 5-10 mg, it has made me feel like climbing the walls. Can't get into sleep- and end up falling asleep at 4 a.m. and sleeping late. But now I have to get up earlier and worried I won't be rested which adds to anxiety. What a problem! I don't want to take too much and feel it's time to wean off Ambien completely. But what to do? Tried Lunesta but it didn't work. Any suggestions or do I just stay Sleepless in New Jersey.

I've been taking Ambien since I was 39. I am now 54. I had a beautiful full head of hair. I've been losing my hair since my early 40s. I thought it was hormones and thyroid. I am on medications for both but it did not help my hair loss. Only after recent research did I discover the link between Ambien and hair loss. This information is devastating. When I can't sleep is it better to take my Ambien and lose my hair or be exhausted all the time?

Hi, my name is Mary, I am 53 yr old white female originally from midwest. I was diagnosed with Crohns disease at 20 yeears
old. Fibromyalgia came along at about 50 years of age and then RA right after that!
Right now all I do is survive day to day. I can't quit my job b/c my job provides the healthcare to my family. I have a very sedentary job but mentally exhausting. Difficult since I am never rested.

Been on Ambien for a few years, as it helps with rotating shifts. Starting Chantix on Monday, wish me luck.
