  • Joanne, Symbiocort is

Joanne, Symbiocort is usually used for a short time and then changed to a twice a day inhaler like Advair. I had a quite similar experience with Sybiocort and Dulera. Both are great Steroidal inhalers that use fomotoral but not so great for the long term. Being a Athsma sufferer for the past 75 years I have experienced the greatest releif with a generic of Advair called Sereflo that I get from a Canadian pharmacy for CONSIDERABLY LESS that our local local Pharmacy. I also have an Albuterol inhaler i can use for emergencies or when I mow the lawn. I am not a Doctor so going to an ENT for consultation will be helpful. I did that too with Dulera. They could not find anything. There was some unexplained swelling. I had problems taking oral medications getting caught and having to spit them back up. You are probably allergic to Fomotorol. I no longer have those problems with my Generic Advair.
