  • Gabapentin for neuropathy

Gabapentin helps sometimes with nerve pain. A friend with sciatica nerve pain was helped at first, but as dosage increased her leg began to burn and she had to stop. Everyone reacts in a different way. It takes smoker's lungs 15 years to return to almost normal after stopping. After starting a low fat plant based diet, high in complex carbs like beans, grains, potatoes and, veggies, and fruit with no dairy, oil, fish, or fowl, it would take longer than one month to see symptoms lessen. However, angina patients saw relief in weeks. Good luck.

  • Lyrica

I take Lyrica for neuropathy and I believe it is supposed to help with the pain. It seems to in my case. Lyrica is close to the medication you are taking.
