I developed first clots in my inner groin. They were first about the size of an egg, but then grew large--disturbing to say the least, and I was not yet sure about the link to WB at that point. I just had no idea. I thought it might be linked to wearing leggings or shape wear too often. Next I developed a throbbing, sore spot in the back of my calf near the bend of my knee, and a similar throbbing, bruise like pain deep in the joint of my ankle. Obviously made no connection. Read up on this and ceased the drug 2 weeks ago. Symptoms are improving. Bruised spots on my inner groin are dissipating. Back of calf still tender to touch but not throbbing. Ankle still tender, but not throbbing. I do not want to go on blood thinner, so do I just wait till this "dissolves" or do clots go away?

I took Tamiflu in late March 2017 after having tested positive for flu. On Easter Morning I was rushed to the ER and tests and scans revealed I had suffered and survived a PE Pulmonary Embolism. Has this happened to anyone after taking Tamiflu?

I am a 39 yr old female who was diagnosed with DVT's in both legs and a month later neuropathy. How do you deal? Do anyone else have muscle twitches and spasms? I do in my arms, shoulders and legs. It is embarrassing but kinda funny. I also have intolerable pain at times and swelling around the two blood clots. Any advice would be greatly appericated.

In April 2017, I developed blood clots in my left leg which was discovered after I had been diagnosed with multiple pulmonary embolisms. I was encouraged by my Rheumatologist to take prednisone to decrease the pain & imflammation I was experiencing from spinal stenosis last Oct. 2016. I had had a previous DVT & pulmonary embolism in 2009 after surgery, where they applied a tourniquet on my left leg for knee surgery. This time there is not any reason for the blood clots except the prednisone use. I am not a couch potato (in fact very active), no airplane travel or recent surgeries. All my genetic & clotting factors came back negative.

My blood clot goes from my groin to my ankle on my right leg. My PE in 50 % in both lungs. The 50% came from my doctor and I am not sure exactly what that means.

I lost my lower leg after having a blood clot within a week of receiving Remicade. Can't find a lawyer to take the case, not against Remicade but the doctors who did not diagnose the clot.
