I would highly recommend a very potent probiotic. This will help regulate his bowels by enhancing his microbiome (healthy gut bacteria). I would recommend something like this product, Garden of Life, Dr. Formulated Probiotics Once Daily Ultra 90 Billion CFU. Once his bowels are no longer loose. He needs to take Jigsaw sustained-release magnesium. 500mg in the am and 500mg in the pm, to prevent constipation. Adjust dosage for comfortable stool density.
