Just being diagnosed with polymyositis. Been in bed for 4 days. Pain throughout my body is awful and now this dizziness. Didn't even realize it could come from this. I'm in the highest risk bracket. I'm over 60 and in pain. Anyone going thru the same thing?

I have been on losarten for the past 2 years. From 100mg to now 0f 25MG.p until the past 90 days, I have had no signs of dizziness or feeling unbalanced.
Then, suddenly, woke up one morning very dizzy. This happened several days in a row. Went to Dr. sent me to a Neurologist. Dr. examined me, and put me on 12,5 MG of meclizine. twice a day. This stopped my dizziness. Bottom of feet and toes as well as leg muscles weak, feel unbalanced when walking, but no dizziness. Dr. had me take a spinal MRI. Results concluded arthritis. Dr. increased Meclzine to 25 MG twice daily. Bottom of feet (balls) feel some numbness well as toes. Trying to find solution.

It starts as soon as I wake up and my feet hit the ground upon getting out of bed. Even sooner. Mentioning it to drs gets a "what do you want me to do about it?" kind of reaction. Even my n/s. I was diagnosed with congenital NPH
in 1993 at the age of 49. My first shuntdamn near killed me as the pressure
setting was too low and it turned into a siphon and caused massive bilateral subdural hematomas, luckily discovered upon my 3-month followup visit
after shunt implant. It's been a wild ride ever since.

I just found out I have a macular hole. I am unsure how long it has been there. At the most it's a year or less based on my last eye exam. . When referred to a specialist he read a list of side effects from surgery and it was almost scary in that he said my sight could get worse. I felt very overwhelmed and he told me to come back in a month or call if I changed my mind about the surgery. My eye doctor was very persuasive in that I needed the surgery. Maybe the surgeon just didn't want to be responsible if anything went wron or I was just upset because of the time he spent with me. I am thinking I need a second opinion
Any suggestions for or against the surgery. I am 68 and planning on some pretty active years ahead.

Hello, I'm now on day 15 and the past few days I've been having dizziness. The first week was great, no nausea, gastric distress or anything. Is this others have experienced?
