    Hi,
I'm 34 and have been taking thyroxine 150mcg and escitalopram 10mg since I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in January 2012. I had my first episode of pancreatitis in February 2016 and a second in August 2017. I'm a non smoker, non drinker, take no other meds, have no other health conditions. USS and MRCP were normal, no stones or other problems with my gall bladder. I've recently seen a Gastro who as asked me to go off my escitalopram to see if it causing pancreatitis l. Has anyone else had the same problem.
    Thanks

Just dawned on me that taking Escitalopram might be why I have thyroid nodules and Hashimotos - googled this connection this am and BAM. Just starting my research 9/19/17 and am not happy this link was not suggested by any medical professionals as a potential side effect. Thyroid issues are running rampant as far as I can tell but my Endo insists they have not increased. Wondering if going GF will have enough of an effect on the weight gain side effect -- also seeing some mentions online of taking Selenium... Would like to chat about these and other links between Thyroid and SSRI... thanks...

I have been on Cipralex 10-20 mg for almost 9 years and was started on Pantorazole 40mg about 3 weeks ago. I have experienced nausea and terrible watery diarrhea 4-5 times every morning. I am on synthroid and arthrotec too.
I realized the connection between Pantoprazole and Cipralex then once I stopped taking the Cipralex the symptoms eased. I am trying to wean down the Cipralex.

I have been on Lexapro for a number of years. I have only just found out that I have mild neutropenia as I had a blood test because I have suffering with a persistent sore throat. My doctor did not connect the dots, I only discovered through Google that Lexapro can induce neutropenia.

I've been reading the comments about memory loss with this drug, I have been taking it for about 2 years, started on 20mg and in the last 4 months have been weaning myself off now down to 5mg daily then I'll drop off to every other day and return to being myself again, although I don't know who she will be anymore. I have developed acute Short term memory loss, I find it very worrying, which I'm sure doesn't help. My mum suffered with dementia/altzeimers before her death so I hope I shall regain some of this memory loss as I progress.
