Am considering taking Evista for my osteoporosis but I have the Factor V Leiden mutation from one parent. Do you think I can take the Evista? I don't want to take ProLia shots and am walking a mile and a half five times a week and trying to get 1200 mg of calcium daily. I also just started taking a supplement called True Osteo.

Factor V Leiden mutation ( I'm on 10mg Coumadin (warfarin) a day for life) because of 2 separate DVT's in the legs. High cholesterol and triglycerides (~780) which just started last year at age 57. Prior level was < 200. Healthy if slightly overweight (6'1" 228 lbs). Feel great, no symptoms of anything. Should I be concerned?

And also I myself always tired taking a lot of medicine for factor v. Plavix; Folic acid and aspirin and Crestor. I went to doctors and after blood test found out I was low on a vitamin D3. started taking the vitamin and felt so much more better. and with Crestor it did make me feel funny so I had the medication changed. those statins are a nether cause of fatigue.
