Folic acid administration
Folic acid administration does not cause cramps.
The fact that you have folic acid deficiency, points to other vitamin deficiencies-for whatever reason. Calcium, magnesium, vitaminD, vitaminB12, and high phosphorus, and more may underlie your generalized muscle cramps.
On the other hand, hormonal and endocrine causes, and nerve lesions may cause it as well, outside alluded-to deficiency.
