Anyone have Sensitivity to teeth with neurontin?
Post created 2 months 1 week ago
I started taking Gabapentine in October 2016. Over the last 2 weeks my teeth have started to be very sensitive.
This hasn't happened before. I have tried all the usual remedies but to no avail. Today I thought I would simply check it out online and here I am ! Reading of others who have the same problem.
Needless to say, I need to stop taking it just to confirm the Gabapentine is the culprit !

I have been taking gabapentin for many years and I'm having tooth sensitivity that moves around. I hope that's all it is. It stays for about a week then goes away. Is anyone else having this?

I've been on high dose of Neurontin for almost 10 yrs for neuropathic pain. All of a sudden in the last year my teeth have lost most of the enamel. Teeth that have had root canals & crowns suddenly disintegrate & break off at the gum line including the teeth that held a 3 unit bridge in the top front. There's not too many options available to disabled people on Medicare that also receive SSDI instead of SSI. I've lost almost ALL of my teeth.
