Is 707 really a super high lipase number?

  • I got my labs back as I have been having pain under my rightvrib cage. I had my gallbladder out in 2006. My amylase was normal. My lipase was 707. The nurse called and said my results were ok. But when I received them online, this high number was there and showing as abnormal. I called the dr's office twice last week to get my ultrasound results and she didn't call back. I'm worried and frustrated. Can gastritis or chronic constipation alone cause that? Of course issues regarding my pancreas are very concerning. I have very little appetite due to stress but my weight is stable. I'm a 60 yr old otherwise healthy no smoking non drinking female.
