  • I've been diagnosed with gastro paresis for about ...

I've been diagnosed with gastro paresis for about 1 year. I've had diarrhoea for 5 weeks which I put down to the complaint. However, because it had gone on for this length of time, I reported it to my GP. He recommended I take a course of Immodium. The 1st day I only had 2 bowel movements so took 2 immodium tablets. I had no adverse effects and slept normally that night. On the evening of day 2 I had 4 bowel movements so took 4 immodiums. That night (last night) I couldn't sleep, and at around 3.45am thus morning I reluctantly gave up and got out of bed. Since then I have had a further 2 bowel movements. I am in a lot of pain and have decided not to take any further immodium tablets. My anus is very hot, not sore, and I don't think I am going to get any sleep. Also, the glands are down in my neck. What should I do?

  • I've been taking lisinopril since November and I'm...

I've been taking lisinopril since November and I'm on a BiPAP. I felt fantastic in April and I went out of town to work middle of May I had severe stomach cramping and severe distention in my abdomen and I don't know if they're mutually exclusive and just two things happening at the same time. The first week of July I found out that I have gastroparesis and each doctor blames the other one for a medication they wrote so I have no idea what is causing it. Everyone blames my pain medication and the pain doctor says lisinopril can cause it. And I guess I wonder can it because my other doctors don't think so so I feel lost.

  • I've been diagnosed with GP since 2015. I've found...

I've been diagnosed with GP since 2015. I've found some relief with marijuana and have experimented with other hallucinogens, mainly lsd, and found I have absolutely no pain during the high. I last used lsd 7 days ago and have been experiencing visuals on/off since (increased when smoking). I'm seeking a support group to hear some other experiences and to see if this is a "normal" experience for people with slowed digestive systems. I've used lsd three other times since my diagnosis and haven't had this happen in the days following. However, I did get a serious migraine that dulled my trip and then threw me back in hours later, lasting around 12hrs total, as opposed to my friends with normal digestive systems trips only lasting 6hrs.

  • Hi ! I'm new to your group, I have Gastroparesis ...

    Hi !
I'm new to your group, I have Gastroparesis for roughly 11-12 years, idiopathic; allergic to Reglan, so try to control it with Domperidone from Mexico. Last year diagnosed with Asthma from allergies, controlled it with Singular and Albuterol puff inhaler, last week I added Claritin, and I've noticed that my Gastroparesis symptoms have improved. Just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this?
