I've been taking lamisil for 2.5 months just recently had cp and soon to have heart cath. I eat healthy like old fashioned oatmeal salads with olive oil and red wine vinergerate avocados little fried foods take flax sèed oil all of this probably daily for several years. My labs come back with high cholesterol triglycerides and low HDL fats. My concern is the liver excretes triglycerides. Worried the lamisil affected the liver enough to cause an elevation of triglycerides and cholesterol

My RA is mild. The methotrexate caused my cholesterol to rise. The Lipitor caused my blood sugar to rise. The rheumatologist denied that the Methotrexate did this but I found research by peer reviewed journals that reported this finding.

  • What does our election have to do with our health? EVERYTHING

This election will set the path to dramatically improve or further destroy our health system. ObamaCare has taken an already disastrous system and made it much worse. The US has been rated #38 in healthcare where France is rated #1. Millions of Americans travel to France when they want a system that will not control their health problem, but cure it. We can have the same system in the US if the right candidate is elected for president. There is not a single politician that can improve our system without upsetting thousands of very powerful corporations and draining the Government of money. If any politicians tries, they will be forced to leave politics and destroy their own special interest groups. We have only one candidate that is not a politician and he must be elected to resolve a medical system that will continue to get worse.

People choose every day to take drugs and expect them to help their symptoms without permanent side-effects. That expectation is not possible without those serious permanent side-effects. There are very few symptoms or diseases that need to be treated with drugs. More than 1/3 of the entire world population never take a single drugs and live a very health life. They only see a doctor in an emergency situation. All medical schools are now requiring medical doctors to take classes on alternative medicine, including nutrition supplements, homeopathy and herbology. In the US we now have well over 200,000 integrative medical doctors using alternative methods before prescribing drugs. Their success exceeds all other medical therapies.

ObamaCare cannot be repaired and must be replaced!!

One candidate is preying on the people with mental weakness, the lower class and neurological challenged.

If Americans vote for the wrong candidate, they will have to suffer the next 40 years and will get what they vote for!!

Triglycerides rose to >1300 while taking pantoprazole for peptic ulcer. This occurred within 3 months of starting pantoprazole. Within one month of cessation of pantoprazole, triglycerides lowered to 275.

About two weeks after beginning Zetia, I started to have severe itching after a shower. It also happened when I washed my hands or face. The itching was in the areas that touched water, except for my torso area. It is unrelenting for about 45 minutes. It is like being tortured for 45 minutes. I tried hydrocortizone, moisturizer, took oral benedryl. Nothing worked except for time. I discontinued Zetia today and hope to be itch-free soon!
