  • I eat healthy, exercise moderately, and sleep well...

I eat healthy, exercise moderately, and sleep well. But I have two health problems in my life. Psoriatic arthritis and spinal lumbar problem. So I have been on Humira for 3 months (taken 40 mg every other week) for changing level of pain and weakness in my hip joints. Lumbar discs bulged at L2,L3,L4,L5,S1 and herniated at L2-L3 - causing me a repeat "sciatica" this year 2017. The level of pain before and after Humira has not changed or got slightly worse. At 3 month-checkup my Rheumy said it would take a very long time to get a result on Humira and told me to continue on with it. But a specialty pharmacist said it would take about 3 months to see it. I wonder which statement is more realistic /reliable. Did anyone switch to Enbrel or other medication and got a better result? I would love to hear from experienced users.

I have developed bone spur on right heal and I think I have one developing on left foot. Also I have had left knee pain and cartilage is gone with a possible spur in that area - I'm 47 and wondering why now to grow or have bone Change- I have been on humira 2.5 years with imuran aa well as lialda . My inner most thoughts feels there is a correlation with spurs and humira
