My 46 year old daughter has been taking theses meds in combination for a few months. We've had to put her in a long term facility because of the severe side effects. Will this be permanent? Her Doctors won't give us info because she is in no shape mentally to sign papers giving permission to share.

  • When I was 6 years old I had encephalitis, almost ...

When I was 6 years old I had encephalitis, almost died, but it caused seizures, grand mal at the time.

That was over 38 years ago. Within the fast five years I've had partial seizures, and, they gotten worse over the years. At first it would come within a month or two; not it's every 10 days, sometimes 6 a week like I had about a month ago. The past two days I've had two partial seizures.

I also am asthmatic, which, I've had since I was four. This is a very serious form of asthma as well.

I am on the following medications:

lamictal, vimpat, lyrica, dilantin, serevent, q-var, and pro-air when I need it. I also have a nebulizer for my asthma that I use as well.

Knowing that lamictal and dilantin work against one another makes me wonder if that is why I am having more and more partial seizures.
