Does anybody takes metformin toghether with opdivo without having diabetes or any other condition that metformin is usually prescribe for.
I am on opdivo for 8 months (IV stage of lung cancer ) and from my investigation comes out the result that metformin maybe increase the response .I am not a diabetic patient but I am seriously thinking to start metformin for better response.Does any one have experience of this compination with out be diabetic and if yes in what dose(metformin) and for how long?
I also take supplements like prebiotics, oral vitamin c and Biobran(NK cells booster) and I believe that those have helped me in my life quality. Now I am searching for new experiments like adding metformin and beta glucans.
Please share your experience with me.

Just started metformin 500gm xr. I have some insulin resistance and can't move stubborn middle weight and thighs. I eat GF free no processed foods. Am on some bio identical hormones dhea and progesterone for years of chronic fatigue. The only thing that gives me relief is to take a few codeine every second day. It gives me energy and makes me feel normal. I then suffer a few more days until I can't stand it and take wet another few codeine. However on 3rd day of metformin and feeling terrible and put on over a kilo in a day or so. Is it my liver?? Too much to process? Or do the two drugs contraindicate. Any advice. I need to lose 9kg to get back to my usual weight of 57kgs. It's been a rollercoaster!!

I started Metformin about a year ago. I was diagnosed with PCOS. And ever since I have had terrible odor and infections from my vagina. I thought something was terribly wrong, but doctors say I have nothing. What can help this? Thinking of getting off metformin because this has totally shut down my sex life and effects my relationship
