My neck pain started after I had Mirena IUD place...

  • My neck pain started after I had
Mirena IUD placed. My doctor tells me it has no relationship but I am finding more on line that maybe it does?

  • Yes it does to answer both if

Yes it does to answer both if your questions. You will get no help from the medical community until Bayer decides to actually list these as potential side affects. I thought I was going crazy. I told every doc that it didn't start until I have my IUD inserted and they said it had nothing to do with it... well it did to make a really long story short. It was one of my STARTING side affects and it slowly got worse. If your health slowly starts to go with no explanation, in my strong opinion, skip the CTs, blood work, specialist visits, etc (been there done that and it gets frustrating and expensive) is to get it removed and don't take no for an answer. I had to argue with countless doc's to take it out, the last doc finally did as she mumbled under her breath that the iud had nothing to do with it. Pain is gone. Anyone researching mirena iud and are having side affects PLEASE REPORT YOUR SYMPTOMS TO BEYER AND FDA SO THEY CAN BE BETTER INFORMED AND SO CAN DOCTORS.
