Just found this site by searching MS and buttock pain. I was diagnosed in 2000, but my first symptoms were in 1986.
I have been on Avonex since diagnosed, but the buttock pain started just a couple of years ago.
It usually starts in late afternoon or early evening. I take a baclofen in the late afternoon and before bedtime. That helps. But, sometimes the pain is so great that I can not sit or lie down. So, I have to stand or pace. On occasion, I have spent hours pacing in the middle of the night.
As you might guess, that is what brought me here. I don't know anyone else with MS. My neurologist makes me feel like I am the only one who ever had this problem. He did give me Vicodin, which I take once or twice a week. It takes it down a notch, but doesn't get rid of it.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I have had MS since 2012. In the past year, I have had my lips swell. I can feel them pulsating. The second day, the outer part of my lips feel like sand paper. It is the third day now, and they are bigger and now starting to itch. Has anyone experienced something like this?

My daughter was dx with Pericarditis right around the same time she was dx with MS. She's now 23 and was dx about 3 years ago. She thinks she's had MS symptoms and chest pains since she was about 17 or earlier.
She's done all the doctor has asked her to do as far as medication but she still gets chest pain, neck, arm pain every now and then. Sometimes it's a light pain and sometimes it's a strong pain lasting for days.
My daughter is pretty strong and doesn't tell me everything afraid I would worry (naturally) but I can see the pain in her eyes and I can see when she wants to cry. We need other opinions soon!
