Good Morning -
I had c4/5 cervical fusion with hardware last Thursday morning 10/5.
I was prescribed NORCO 235-7.5 After being home for two days I developed hallucinations. I hade severe neck, shoulder, and muscle pain and took fifteen NORCO of these over the next 75 hour span (as directed by the way)
The hallucinations first appeared like ants moving across the floor. They became more intense and finally resulted into a full head on attack of my sanity. I've had two 'intense' rounds and two moderate attacks that I fought through by remaining calm and explaining to myself this is not real and they cannot physically hurt me. Other hallucinations were of my family quietly sitting in my room. I stopped taking Norco on Wednesday morning @ 3 AM. at my doctors recommendation.
My question - long can I expect these 'events' to continue after I stop using NORCO? Or will I always be susceptible to them?
Any other thoughts or comments will be appreciated

Have just had a severe gout attack. Took two colchicine caps and then another 1 hour later. Still hurts. Going to take a Norco now to kill more pain. Will I suffer any severe side effects from taking both meds that close together? I sure do hate gout!!

I was diagnosed with Atrial Fib while having a physical for a shoulder surgery. I have taken Norco for an extended period of time without any physician discussing the possible risk of the Afib.
Now, 6 months later no doctor has discussed this as a cause, is this a normal occurrence with doctor patient experience?

I use Norco to relieve my fatigue symptoms. This is the only medication that works. It helps wake me up and does not have a negative effect. I was wondering if anyone else has this happen to them.

I take Norco daily. I took it for fun for many years. Now I have a legitimate need for taking it, and I don't abuse it. One day I was 23 and the next I was 60, I ran the gamut. I'm just looking to read and share stories. Don't know just what I'll find but I'll be upfront, I'm not looking for a site that focuses on all the horror stories of opiods and other drugs.
So, I hope you'll let me join so I can take a look around. I'm no troll. I'm very polite, I've joined groups for a myriad of reasons and have never had a problem or have been reprimanded or been kicked off any list since I started joining internet groups in 1998.

I suffer from cervical & lumbar Spinal Stenosis. Chronic pain always. I have been taking Norco 10 three times per day since 2007. My lab work and liver are all fine. I recently Lost my temper while in church. I said something over the microphone in anger. I went home prayed about it and actually forgot I was angry at the person until the following Sunday when the Pastor brought it up and decided to have a meeting about it with the person. I had snapped at the week before. This caused me to feel under attack so I verbally attacked the person again in the presents of the Pastor. Yes I have always had a temper, but normally I have more control over it. The good thing is that I also cannot stay angry very long and tend to let it go and forget about it rather quickly.
Not sure what is going on?
