  • Methotrexate & diclofenac together

Hi all. I have just startes taking methotrexate for my psoriatic arthritis and have been taking diclofenac sodium for the imflammation and pain.
I have read so many stories saying that they are not advised to be taken together.
I have started off with just 5mg once a week for the methotrexate and taking 2 x 75mg diclofenac sodium daily.
What are your experiences taking both together?
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I've been taking topamax for a few years for weight loss and my psoriasis almost completely disappeared for the first time in 49 years. I started cutting back on the medication a few months ago and have been off it for a few weeks and sure enough my psoriasis is slowly returning. I never put two and two together that it was the topamax that had cleared the psoriasis, I thought it had just gone into remission.

  • Taking Anafranil or other tricyclic antidepressant(Elavil, Tofranil, Sinequan) together with enbrel

I have recurrent clinical depression since 1992 and have been taking Anafranil (clomipramine) since then. I started enbrel 4years ago. My depression patterns have changed, I seem to get worse episodes with a lot of fatigue and weakness. Anybody else taking these 2 drugs together, (or another tricyclic)?

Hi. I'm a 56-year-old female in California whom has had plaque psoriasis for about the last five years (although only diagnosed correctly 2 years ago) and recently via x-ray was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. I also have muscle spasms in my right arm my neurologist says is dystonia. It drives me crazy! I'm on Humira, which was helping my psoriasis and I was close to clearing until my Neuro doc decided to try baclofen a couple weeks ago and now my psoriasis is flaring and since it's the only recent change, it appears related. I'm already on clonazapam for the dystonia which helps; but not enough to be able to write well for very long (hence adding baclofen). I'm looking for ideas of meds for spasms that don't mess with psoriasis. Thanks.
