How many of you have continued to take remicade after PE? I received news that I had bilateral pulmonary embolisms in October and it is now January and I just got a bronchoscopy today relvealing I have a resistant strain of bacteria in my lungs. He flushed everything out but I'm scared to take remicade due to more PEs in the future and possible death. Any advice?

Several people in my family recently had head lice, but I did not get them. I am on a high dose of Coumadin for life for Factor V Leiden, DVT's, etc. and I was wondering if that could be a reason why I did not get them... or if the two are unrelated... Thank you!

I'm 22. Got diagnosed with pulmonary embolism a month ago. I'm on 20mg of xarelto once a day and I'm wondering if I can mix,
25mg oxandrolone with it.
I know warifin and oxandrolone do not mix well so I'm wondering if it is the same case for xarelto.

Hi, my name is Pearl, I recently lost my daughter to pulmonary embolism. She was prescribed Macrobid for UTI . Doctor at the emergency did not ask her if she had kidney problems and she only had one kidney that was still functioning. A week after she was done taking her pills , she was very sick , shortness of breath and in pain. She went to the hospital on Wednesday night and Friday I got a call that we should call the family and Saturday she was gone. We are in shock and mad at the same time. I want to sue that doctor for not doing is job properly, help me clear up my mind.
I can not sleep thinking of what she went through .

Hi, i recently had a diagnostic laparoscopy to treat endometriosis and was injected with a depo provera shot. I am 22 years old. I was on the depo provera for birth control and endometriosis. I had a pulmonary embolism 2 years ago after my 3rd back surgery and was also on the depo shot then, but soon stopped after my pulmonary embolism. Are my chances of getting another PE higher since i have already had one? I'm afraid my chances are higher and concerned i could have another while on the depo shot.
