I did not have Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS). I started taking Zoloft and within 3 days, I had very annoying tremors, mostly in my hands. I stopped taking the Zoloft, but the tremors didn't go away. I was unable to sleep. The doctor said it was Obsessive Compulsive Disorder because I said I had a compulsion to shake my legs, and sent me to a psychiatrist. I told my brother about it and he told me that it was RLS and that we have a family history of it.
Granted, I have a genetic susceptibility to RLS, but it seems to me that the RLS was triggered by the Zoloft. This was 15 years ago and I still have the RLS even though the Zoloft was only 3 days.
