I am 39 years old. I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder 4 months ago and prescribed Ritalin 15 mg 3 times a day, to be increased to 20 mg later on. I was taking 10 mg every 4 hours or so for most of these 4 months.

For the last few weeks i have numbess in my limbs, especially in my left leg from the knee down. It was getting worse and worse, a few days ago I could not get off the floor. I can now but I walk a lot more slowly than before this started and I drag my feet when I walk. It is in my face too, it's difficult to move my lipts to speak, eat and drink.

I am trying to stop taking Ritalin to see if it will help. I did not take any today, I had a mad craving for it right now but I think I am over the worst bit of the withdrawal. But the numbness is not going anywhere. I am just wondering - is it the Ritalin that is causing the symptoms? can it cause the numbness and other things? and if it does, is it permanent damage or will it go away? how long will it take?

I am not sure if anyone is reading this, I had a quick look at other threads and there are no replies. If anyone is reading this, hit me up.

I'm 69 years old. Six months ago, I had an EKG test that showed a normal heart. Then, I began taking Ritalin as a mood enhancer as prescribed by my psychiatrist. This week, I took another EKG, which shows that I have an enlarged atria. I repeated the test and got the same results.

When I was 20 years old my mother confessed that she traded sex with my doctor and pharmacist to keep my brother and i on Ritalin for 10 years. Checking the "Big Pill Book" I discovered that the three of them illegally kept me on it at 3 times the legal adult dose. I am now in my 50s and have had debilitating exhaustion most of my life. My Thyroid count (which ought to be 100) is ZERO. It produces nothing, yet doctors find this result in a male so unusual that they refuse to treat it. The ten years that I was on Ritalin are a vague and fuzzy memory. I was NEVER hyperactive, if anything I was a rather withdrawn child who'e constant leg pains cut play time by half. If my doctor and pharmacist still lived, I would hunt them down.

Hi there. Just started on wellbutrin xl
    300mg and biphentin 40mg together.
I have been on the Wellbutrin for several months and had then tried 40mg of vyvanse with it. I had tried vyvanse before and it certainly made me more productive for part of the day but the side effects, excessive
    teeth clenching and grinding and
abnormal mouth movements (tics) made me try the biphentin. So far I haven't noticed any side effects from the biphentin but not as dramatic a lift as with vyvanse. However it's only been a few days with the biphentin/wellbutrin
    combination so fingets crossed !!!
