I have the funniest sleep talk. It actually entertains me.

I've had ptsd for a long time with the nightmares and night terrors that go with it.

I've had only one nightmare since I started taking it.

  • 61 yr old taking Cymbalta for 1yr & Sleepwalking

I have been waking up for past few weeks with memories of very vivid dreams and talking or yelling at someone in the dream when I wake up. My roommate asked me last night to be sure I close the screen door in the living room after I let the dog back in for night. I know I always do that but she said the door was wide open. I am afraid I walked in my sleep and opened it. She also told me two cookies were missing from a box she was saving for a event on Friday. I have no memory of eating them. I once had a sleepwalking problem that was traced to a medication before so I checked if Cymbalta had that as a possible side effect and sure enough it does, putting two and two together I am figuring I slept walked ate the cookies and went outside in the patio as I remember dreaming of a garden party.

  • I've been taking flexeril nightly for about six mo...

I've been taking flexeril nightly for about six months. My husband says I talk every night, and he usually considers it sexual in nature. So much so, he is convinced I am having multiple affairs. It's ruining my marriage.

I take a small dose (5mg) of it every night along with 100 mg of gabapentin. I do this because I have serious, advanced TMJ and wanted a non-narcotic solution. I was taking opioids daily before my doc and I came up with this combo that keeps my jaw muscles relaxed so I don't clench while sleeping and keeps the nerve pain in my face quiet so it doesn't flare up into a migraine. I thought this was the answer to my prayers.

My husband finally confronted me about this lude talking - after several months of enduring it. He says ear plugs don't work.

It took me quite a bit of searching to find out which of my medications might be causing this and I am relieved to have found this group and info. Maybe now he will stop waking me in the morning yelling at me, telling me that he knows I am cheating on him with multiple people. This is horrible and as I already suffer from depression and anxiety - I hardly need more stress.

Anything you all could share with me to help me get through this would be so helpful. I am at my wits end.

Several years ago I went to my old doctor in tears about my memory loss at that time I was 44 years old .At age 49 I found a new doctor my short term memory loss was much worse I was, sure I was in early stage of demensia. Where she informed me prilosec was connected to memory loss .I had been taking it for a solid 10 years. I immediately stopped taking it until last night my stomach hurt so bad for doing I broke down and took 1 capsule I was desperate for relief Then something happened that had not happened in awhile I talked a night in my sleep .I never even connected it with prilosec till now. I immediately googled this and found this support group. I have had a long term sleep disorder which has made my life a living hell . So I ask you now what I'm physically and mentally whipped out

I'm wondering if anyone has stopped the medication Tizanadine due to sleep talking. I also reach out to things in the air while I'm sleeping. Anyone else do that as well as the sleep talking?
