I just had ulcer surgery 2 weeks ago and I was taking meloxicam. I also learned I'm not supposed to take aspirin or ibuprofen. And doing my research on the internet I found out that I'm not supposed to take tizanidine. And my doctor still has me taking 4 milligrams of it. I'm upset my stomach has been hurting for 2 days because of this. And all I've heard is about people with all her surgeries taking antibiotics afterwards. They gave me none in the hospital and none now is this wrong should I be on antibiotics to help heal this?. My blood count was supposed to be 12 or over and it was less than 9 when I was in the hospital

I had vertigo BPPV for about 6 years, had an epley treatment somewhere along the way, it came back, did at home brandt doroff ex's for years - knew how and when it would happen and luckily there for a while it would stop spinning and I could go on - driving was ok because my head was still - typing was ok, but walking was not, etc, if you're reading this you know. I had a good Epley about 2.5 yrs ago and praise God it was gone for 2 years, with only 2 different 12 hr episodes in that time. I think it came back gradually this time because I'd been switched to Zanaflex for my back pain and subsequent muscles locking up - and I started to get that "floaty" feeling as I call it...for several months but no actual left sided spinning episodes, so I never thought about the vertigo. Was foggy, eye problems, and headaches - thought i twas the medicine and it was but then one day bam So, Had a professional epley, w spine issues sleeping sitting up is very painful esp the next day but it lasted almost a week - I was so mad it came back and I didn't even do anything to set it off - so I did a set myself and slept half the night upright - was gone about 4 days but that was four days w no ear ringing, no spinning, clear head and ah...just relief. Did it again, fixed it again, back today just trying to lay flat on the bed to do my back exercises which I've been avoiding so I wouldn't spin but my back has been hurting alot because of that - I can't afford to pay the PT every time it comes back unless it's gonna stay gone. ANYway....do you think it came back cause of the Zanaflex? I had a brain MRI so guess nothing showed up other than I have one? LOL Determined NOT to let this run my life like I did last time. Thanks for the group!
