  • Hi. I too am taking Topamax

Hi. I too am taking Topamax for migraine prevention, (although they're no longer working) as I have a bad cataract in my right eye and another one developing in my left eye. I'm having 2 or 3 migraines a week now as my eyes are no longer working together, my eyesight in my right eye has almost gone and I have double vision. Not certain if it's the migraines or the reason I'm also on I'm on anti-coagulants for (mini strokes prevention) that's causing the cataracts and my ophthalmologist neither knows or cares either. In my opinion, it's the Topamax, it has a lot of nasty side effects, I've been taking it for around 12 years.
